What We Expect From You

Camp Harvest's mission is to provide a godly environment for spiritual maturity; therefore, high standards of conduct and separation are maintained.

  • Boy/Girl Relations
    • There is to be no inappropriate boy/girl touching: ex. - high-fives, holding hands, hugging, touching each other when seated may all be considered as inappropriate contact.
    • Separate swim times are scheduled for male and female campers.
    • No camper is to be in the cabin areas of the opposite gender.
    • Camp Harvest is not a dating service. Although you may meet and swoon over someone, the purpose of camp is not for you to find a boyfriend/girlfriend.

  • Dress Standards
    • Ladies/girls dress: Please bring knee-length skirts or dresses for the evening services (slits must not be higher than the knee). Any fashion worn must come at least to the top of the knee when seated and cover the shoulders. Low necklines (front or back) are not acceptable camp attire. Loose-fitting pants, jeans, or knee-length fashions may be worn except to evening services. Swimsuits must cover the back and entire midriff. Bikinis are not permitted. Ladies are to wear a dark T-shirt and shorts to and from swimming.
    • Mens/boys dress: Long pants and shirts with collars are required for evening services (warm-up type pants are not appropriate for the evening service). Any fashion worn must come at least to the top of the knee when seated and cover the shoulders. Men are to wear a dark T-shirt to and from swimming.
    • Applicable to all: No apparel with inappropriate graphics or lettering is to be worn at any time. Hollywood, Pop-culture, TV-themes, and other entertainment themes are considered to be inappropriate. Camp Harvest reserves the right to ask anyone to change his outfit if, in the estimation of the staff, it does not comply with these standards.

  • Other guidelines:
    • Foul language will not be permitted. Campers should maintain communication that is God-honoring and pure.
    • Campers who use any type of controlled substance will be dismissed.
    • Any noncooperative or noncompliant campers will be subject to dismissal.
    • Enjoy yourself through Christ-honoring fun!!

What to Expect From Us

You can expect Camp Harvest to do its best at honoring and glorifying Christ through activities, skits, and preaching. If you endeavor to transform your life to reflect Christ (Rom. 12:1-2), you should have no difficulties from us.

What to Leave At Home

Any type of electronic device other than a camera for pictures, alcoholic beverages, drugs, tobacco, fireworks, ammunition, weapons of any kind, skateboards, rollerblades, magazines, apparel with inappropriate graphics or lettering, cellphones, or mp3 players will be detained and returned after camp has finished.

Camp Harvest August Session

Arrival

Monday, August 17, 2015. Arrive between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Camp begins at 1:45 pm.

Departure

Saturday, August 22, 2015, after 11:00 am.

Camper Ages

Open to all between the ages of 13 to 19 years old. Exception to this will be made for campers who are 12, yet entering grade 7 in September. Also, any 19 year old camper must have a Pastoral Reference Form completed prior to arrival.

Cost

Only $175 for the week! Make checks payable to CIBC or Pay Online.

What To Bring To Camp

Bible (KJV), sleeping bag, pillow, fan, towels, toiletries, camera, flashlight, ball-glove, spending money, swimsuit (see dress standards), jacket and other warm clothing, sports clothes for activities, and nice casual clothing for the evening service. Please ensure that all of your property is clearly marked with your name or initials.

First Fruits Junior Day Camp

Day Camp Hours

Junior Camp will begin on Wednesday, July 8, and run daily through Saturday, July 11, 2015. Camp will begin at 9:30 am and will conclude at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Campers who are age 9 and above will have the opportunity to stay over Friday night into Saturday morning camping out. Camp concludes at 1:00p Saturday morning after our closing Cookout.

Camper Ages

Any child between the ages of 6 and 12 may attend this camp.

Cost

Free! Lunch, snacks, and Friday supper are included. Donations are appreciated. Donate Online.

Possible Activites

Water games, hiking, arts and crafts, archery, Bible lessons, missionary stories, and other similar age-appropriate activities.

What To Bring To Camp

Bible (KJV), towel for drying off, extra clothes, swimsuit (see dress standards), jacket and other warm clothing.

Friday Night Only: flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries (showers required). Please ensure that all of your property is clearly marked with your name or initials.
